About Lapo Institute for Microfinance and Enterprise Development
The college started as a Training Unit of the Lift Above Poverty Organisation in 1996 and grew to a full-fledged entity known as LAPO Development Services (LDS) in 2001. LAPO Institute has since grown to become a substantial and influential organisation at the heart of microfinance and enterprise development in Africa.
