About Nigerian Navy School of Health Sciences
The college was established in NNS QUORRA in 1984 as a result of decision to localize professional courses in the Nigerian Navy due to Economic down turn of the Nation. The idea to establish the school was conceived in 1982 but did not materialize until 1984. The school was set up to train middle level manpower to support the health professionals in the actualization of the primary objectives of the Nigerian Navy Medical Service. Hitherto, the medical ratings were trained abroad at huge expense to the nation.
