About Nawanyago Technical Institute
Nawanyago technical institute is one of the TVET institutions under the Ministry of Education and Sports, implementing the BTVET Strategic plan, code named “Skilling Uganda” and also implementing the TVET Policy 2019. The institute, spanning 29acres, is located at Nawanyago town council, behind Nawanyago town council offices in Kamuli District, Eastern Uganda. It was commissioned on 28th January 2015 by H.E. Yoweri Kaguta Museveni Tibuhaburwa although operations started in December 2015 with the first intake of non-formal students.
