Established in 1927.The Campus started at Jeans School Kabete (Former Kenya Institute of Administration and currently, Kenya School of Government and later relocated to King George the VI Hospital (KNH). It started as a Training Unit on the Job during the Colonial period and later relocated to KNH due to expansion and demand for skilled manpower used to operate as thecentral point for the other Medical Training Centresuntil 2001 when it was delinked and given a self- governing status with Student population growing to the current 5,000. Today, KMTC Nairobi has developed into a complex institution with a wide spectrum of Departments and Programs that have expanded and diversified to offer training ranging from Certificate, Diploma, and Higher Diplomas.
