The Campus is situated within Kapkatet Sub-County Hospital in Kapkatet trading center, Kericho County.Year of Establishment: September 2007.Inception and Growth:A group of community members and leaders saw the need for establishing KMTC to serve the then Districts of Bomet, Kericho, Kipkelion, and Bureti. Following a visit by H.E President Mwai Kibaki, the community members seized the opportunity to request him for a Medical College, a request which was granted.The Hospital Administration then gave out flats that housed staff. Later, these buildings were renovated and converted into hostels with a capacity of 200 Students.NGCDF-Bureti also constructed three (3) more classrooms.
