Institutions Offering Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting

•  Lagos State University, Lagos  
  Course entry requirements:
  i. Candidates applying for the PGD in Accounting should have a Third Class in Business related courses such as Accounting, Accounting Education, Banking and Finance, Marketing, Business Administration, Insurance, Industrial Relation and Personnel Management.
  ii. Candidates with a second class lower degree from other field such as Engineering, Sciences, etc. are also qualified.
  iii. Candidates with Higher National Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Banking and Finance, Business Administration, Marketing and any other Management related courses at lower credit.
  iv. Candidates with relevant professional qualification such as ICAN, ICAEW, ACCA, ACIB, CIMA, CIPM are also qualified.
  v. All candidates are expected to have five (5) credit pass in English, Mathematics, at not more than two sittings in G.C.E, WAEC, NECO.
  
•  Bowen University, Iwo  
  Course entry requirements:
  (i) All candidates are to have five credit passes including English Language and Mathematics where applicable.
  
  (ii) Candidates with Bachelor’s Degree from an approved University must obtain a minimum of pass degree in the relevant programme
  
  (iii) Holders of HND in relevant programmes from approved institutions with a minimum of Lower Credit may also be considered for admission.
  
  Candidates in regular employment or employed at Bowen must indicate such and must submit with their applications, formal letter of release to Postgraduate College.
  
  Applicants who are not graduates of Bowen University must request their former Universities or institutions to forward directly to the College Administrator, College of Postgraduate Studies, Bowen University their academic transcripts as applicable.
•  Akwa Ibom State University, Ikot  
  Course entry requirements:
  (a) SSC or its equivalent with credit passes in five (5) relevant subjects including English Language, Mathematics, Economics or Accounting and any other two subjects at not more than two sittings.
  (b) Higher National Diploma in Accounting with a minimum of lower credit.
  (c) Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting with a minimum of Third Class Division from a recognized University.
  (d) Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of Second Class Lower Division in Banking and Finance, Insurance, Actuarial Science, Economics, Business Administration, Public Administration, Marketing, Mathematics, Computer Science and Statistics
•  Ajayi Crowther University, Oyo  
  ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
  (a)Five (5) O’Level credit passes including English Language and Mathematics
  
  (b)Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration not lower than a Third Class Division from a recognized University or HND in Business Administration with a minimum of Lower Credit
  
  
  (c)Bachelor’s degree (with at least Second Class Lower Division) in other areas relevant to Business Administration may be considered.

  Course entry requirements:
  (i) Possession of a first degree not less than third class from a recognized University or
  (ii) Higher National Diploma (HND) with a minimum of Lower Credit in related field of study, from a Polytechnic or any recognized institution.
  (iv) Possession of a minimum of 5 O’level Credits in related subjects, including Mathematics and English

  Course entry requirements:
  -Five Credit Passes including English, Mathematics and three other relevant subjects at 'O'
  -Bachelor's Degree holders from any NUC approved University with a minimum of Third-Class Degree in a relevant
