  Minimum entry requirements:
  i. Candidates must meet the minimum Chuka University general admission criteria as stipulated in the statutes.
  
  ii. Holders of a Bachelors degree of Chuka University in Computer science of at least Upper Second Class Honours OR equivalent qualification from an institution recognised by Chuka University Senate.
  
  iii. Holders of a Bachelors degree of Chuka University in Computer Science, of Lower Second Class Honours OR equivalent qualification from an institution recognised by Chuka University Senate. In addition, they must have demonstrable relevant experience of at least two years.
  
  iv. Holders of a Bachelors degree of Chuka University in a related Engineering, computing or Mathematics discipline, of at least Upper Second Class Honours OR equivalent qualification from an institution recognised by Chuka University Senate.
  
  v. Holders of a Bachelor's degree of Chuka University in a related Engineering, computing or Mathematics discipline, of Lower Division Second Class Honours. In addition, they must have demonstrable relevant experience of at least two years
  
  Course duration:
  -2 Years (4 Semesters) Full-time
  -4 Years (8 Semesters) Part-time/ Work-Based; Day, Evening or Weekend
  
  Intakes:
  (i) September, January and May of each year for full time students.
  (ii) December, April and August of each year for part time/holiday-based/work-based students

  Course entry requirements:
  a) Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science with Second Class Honours Upper Division or a cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.00 on a scale of 4.00 from MMU, or any institution recognized by the University;
  b) Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science with Second Class Honours, Lower Division or a cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.50 on a scale of 4.00 from MMU, or any institution recognized by the University, with three (3) years working experience in relevant field, or evidence of research capability either through research, paper presentations or peer reviewed publications;
  c) Relevant postgraduate diploma from MMU or any institution recognized by the University.
  
  Course duration: 2 years
•  Maasai Mara University, Narok  
  Minimum entry requirements:
  -Bachelors degree with First Class Honours or Second Class Honors (Upper Division) in relevant disciplines, from Universities recognized by the University Senate OR
  - Bachelors degree with a Second Class Honors (Lower Division) in relevant disciplines, from Universities recognized by the University Senate, with at least two (2) years post qualification of work experience.

  (i) A Bachelor Science degree in Computer Science/software Engineering/ Computer Engineering of at least Lower Second Class from a recognized University OR
  
  (ii) A post graduate diploma in Computer Science from a university recognized by Kenyatta University senate

  Admission Requirements:
  
  Be a holder of a Bachelor’s degree at least at Upper second class honours in relevant discipline or its
  equivalent from an institution recognized University Senate.

  Lower Second Class honors with two (2) years relevant experience in a relevant field.
  
  Course duration: 2 years
