  -Must have MSCE or its equivalent with 6 credits that should include credits in Mathematics, Physical Science, Biology and English (plus any other 2 credits).

  -MSCE/O-Level credits in Biology, Physical Science, English and Mathematics.
  -University diploma in Nursing.
  -Be a Registered Nurse/ Midwife.
  -In addition, all candidates are expected to have at least 2 years of work experience in either nursing or midwifery at RN level.
  -Applicants with distinction and credit passes in their previous academic records shall have an added advantage.
  
  Course duration: 2 years
•  DMI - St John the Baptist University, Mangochi  
  Admission requirements:
  1. Candidates must have the Malawi School Certificate of Education(MSCE) with an aggregate of not more than thirty points in the best six subjects obtained in not more than two sittings(or)
  2. Candidates must have the Malawi School Certificate of Education(MSCE) and passed in Pre-Entry/ Bridge Course Examination was conducted by the University(or)
  3. Candidates applying for bridge course must have points below 36.
  4. Credit in English is must and Chichewa is not included when calculating the aggregate points.
  5. Equivalent qualification on approval of the Academic Board.
