    Intake Information:
    Intake for the course work mode and mixed mode programmes are open twice a year, which is every October until November (for the next year February intake) and every April until May (for the September intake). Application for research mode programmes can be made any time throughout the year.

    Entry Requirements:
    Requirements for admission to the Masters Degree programme:

    1. Bachelor’s Degree with a good Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) from the University or any higher learning institution recognised by the Senate; or
    2. Degree in Medical or Dentistry from the University or any higher learning institution or an equivalent degree thereto from any higher learning institution recognised by the Senate; or
    3. Other qualifications recognised by the Senate obtained through Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning (APEL) or through Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL); and
    4. Fulfills other requirements prescribed by the programme (where applicable).

    ENGLISH LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY REQUIREMENTS

    An international candidate is required to fulfill the English Language proficiency requirements as follows:
    Obtained TOEFL (550), IELTS (6) or MUET (4) results which fulfil the score or minimum band requirements prescribed by the programme; or
    For certain programmes, a candidate is required to sit for an English Proficiency Test (EPT) and if he/she fails to achieve the level specified by the programme, the candidate is required to attend and pass the English Proficiency Module (EPM) in a maximum period of two (2) semesters before he is allowed to register for the study programme. The candidate shall register as a Non-Graduating Student.
    The Faculty/Institute may grant exemption to the requirements specified in subregulation (1) for the international candidate who:
    will be writing his/her thesis/dissertation in the Malay/ Arabic languages;
    has the academic qualifications obtained from any local universities recognised by the Senate; or
    is originally from a country where English is the official language or he/she has the academic qualifications obtained from any higher learning institution which uses English as the medium of instruction.
    The candidate may be exempted from the requirements stated in subregulation (2), but the candidate shall sit for the English Proficiency Test (EPT) and if he/she fails to obtain the level specified by the programme, the candidate is required to attend and pass the English Proficiency Module (EPM).

    Course entry requirements:
    (i) A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline from any university or higher learning institution recognised by UCSI University.
    (ii) A Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology or its equivalent with minimum CGPA 2.75 out of 4.00; or
    (iii) A Bachelor’s Degree with minimum CGPA of 2.75 in any field, AND a minimum 45 credits of prerequisites modules in Psychology or its equivalent with a minimum CGPA 2.75 out of 4.00 in the prerequisites modules; or
    (iv) A Bachelor’s Degree with minimum CGPA 2.75 out of 4.00 in any field, AND a minimum 30 credits of prerequisites modules in Psychology or its equivalent with a minimum CGPA 2.75 out of 4.00 in the prerequisites modules, AND a Graduate Record Examination (GRE) Subject Test (Psychology) with a minimum score of 550; or
    (v) Other relevant or equivalent qualification, experience and requirement accepted by the HEP Senate/competent authority in Malaysia.
    (vi) Direct Entry to programme, or
    (vii) The Faculty may require the candidate to do matching courses at the undergraduate level and up to one semester before undertaking the Master of Clinical Psychology.
    (viii) All candidates need to undergo a compulsory interview conducted by qualified clinical psychologists.

    Note:
    In addition to the interview, the faculty will also administer a personality test to assess the applicant’s suitability for the programme. Please note that the fee for the personality test is non-refundable and will be borne by the applicants.

    Course entry requirements:
    a) Bachelor’s degree in Psychology
    A minimum CGPA of 2.75 out of 4.00

    A minimum CGPA of 2.50 out of 4.00 may be accepted subject to an internal assessment by an independent panel

    b) Bachelor’s degree in Other Fields of Study
    A minimum CGPA of 2.75 out of 4.00 subject to the degree consisting of a minimum 45-credit Psychology module or equivalent and the applicant must have obtained a CGPA of 2.75 in the said psychology module

    A minimum CGPA of 2.75 out of 4.00 subject to the degree consisting of a minimum 30-credit Psychology module or equivalent and the applicant must have obtained a CGPA of 2.75 in the said psychology module AND a minimum score of 550 in the Psychology subject of the Graduate Record Examination (GRE).

    c) Other equivalent qualifications recognized by the Government of Malaysia
