  -A completed Bachelor’s Degree (or AQF equivalent) and successful completion of acceptable undergraduate and or/postgraduate study that includes the equivalent of three-quarters of a year of discipline study relating to the applicant’s intended teaching area, usually comprising sequential discipline study taken over three years (0.75 Equivalent Full Time Study Load - EFTSL).
  -Applicants must also have a GPA (Grade Point Average) of 4.0 (Pass) in their prior undergraduate studies.
  -Applicants who are no more than two subjects short of the NESA requirements for discipline content subjects, or who lack the required GPA of 4.0, will be offered a place in the Bachelor of Teaching (Secondary) where they can complete the required subjects /demonstrate their capacity to achieve a GPA of 4.0.
  -On the completion of the first 4 subjects (equivalent to one session of full time study) for the Bachelor of Teaching (Secondary) and/or any required additional discipline subjects to support their teaching area, students can apply to enter the Master of Teaching Secondary; to be eligible, students must have attained a Grade Point Average of 4 in their undergraduate or postgraduate degree or first 4 subjects (equivalent to one session of full time study) for the Bachelor of Teaching (Secondary).
  -All applicants who do not meet the Standard CSU English Language Proficiency Requirements must demonstrate proficiency by completing an Academic IELTS (or equivalent) with an overall score of 7.5 (with no score below 7 in reading and writing, and a score of no less than 8 in speaking and listening)

  and
  (b) must have a degree with six units in a discipline that is relevant for the school curriculum major, with at least two of those units studied at second year university level and two at third year university level;

  (c) the equivalent of a UWA weighted average mark of at least 60 per cent; and
  (d) a satisfactory personal statement, as recognised by UWA.
  (2) Before admission, international students must obtain a criminal record check from their country of origin or recent residence.
