    Course entry requirements:
    (i) All candidates are required to possess a Bachelor’s degree obtained from a University approved by Senate and with a grade not less than Second Class Lower Division.
    (ii) A candidate with less than Second Class Lower Division plus a Postgraduate Diploma with a minimum of Upper Credit in a relevant field from a recognized University.
    (iii) In addition to (i) and (ii) above, candidates must satisfy the Ordinary Level requirement of five (5 subjects which must include English Language, Mathematics and any other three (3) subject as may be specified for the programme of choice.

    Candidates in regular employment or employed at Bowen must indicate such and must submit with their applications, formal letter of release to Postgraduate College.

    Applicants who are not graduates of Bowen University must request their former Universities or institutions to forward directly to the College Administrator, College of Postgraduate Studies, Bowen University their academic transcripts as applicable.

    Admission requirements:
    1.Candidates with Bachelor’s degrees in Chemistry from Crescent University and approved universities must obtain a minimum of second class lower division with a CGPA of 3.0/5.0 for an academic programme.
    2.The students from other streams holding bachelor’s degree with a minimum of a second class lower in related courses such as Geology, Environmental Management and Toxicology and Biochemistry may also apply provided such candidates took relevant courses in chemistry and passed them at the undergraduate level.
    3.Candidates with at least a third class degree or HND and university PGD with CGPA of 3.0/.5.0 may be considered for admission into academic Master’s degree programmes.
    Candidates may be required to undergo a selection process. That is, candidates without background in chemistry may be required to take some courses at the lower level

    Course entry requirements:
    a. The course shall be open for admission to Honours Chemistry graduates from Lagos State University and other Universities/Institutions recognized by the Senate, who have obtained not less than a Second Class lower division.
    b. A Master Degree programme in Chemistry shall last for a minimum of 4 semesters and a maximum of 6 semesters and each student shall renew his/her registration at the beginning of each session.
    c. The programme shall run on a full time basis and the candidates may be required to satisfy the Department in a selection process.
