  -Applicants without a tertiary qualification may be admitted on the basis of professional attainment and/or work experience in a scientific or quantitative environment.
  AND
  -Applicants must also have studied, within the last 10 years, a high school mathematics subject that includes calculus (for example HSC Mathematics or VCE Mathematical Methods. HSC General Mathematics or equivalent is not sufficient), OR have completed a university level mathematics subject which includes calculus (such as MTH105) which is deemed by the course coordinator to be equivalent.
