  (i) Direct admission
  -KCSE with a Mean Grade of C+ (Plus) or its equivalent. C (Plain) English/Kiswahili and C+ (Plus) in any one subject among:
  
  -Mathematics or Physics or Chemistry or in Physical Science, and C+ (Plus) in any one subject among: History and Government, Geography, Religious Education or Social Education and Ethic and C (plain) either in Biology or C+ (Plus) in Biological Sciences
  
  (ii) Indirect admission
  -Diploma in with at least a credit in Psychology, Counselling or Medical-related courses from an institution recognized by Egerton University Senate.
  
  OR
  
  -Diploma with a pass and at least two years relevant working experience.
•  Chuka University, Chuka  
  Course entry requirements:
  -Mean grade C+ in KCSE, OR Diploma in Guidance and Counseling with at least a credit from Senate-recognized institutions
  
  Course duration: 8 semesters
  
  Mode of study: Full time
  
  Admission timelines are: September, January and May each year for full time students; December, April and August of each year for part time/holiday-based/work-based students.
