  Course entry requirements
  (i) A Bachelor’s degree in Medicine and Surgery (MBChB) from the University of Zambia or an equivalent qualification from a recognized University.
  
  (ii) The candidate must have full registration with the Health Professionals Council of Zambia (HCPZ) and possess a certificate of good standing
  
  (iii) Applicants seeking government sponsorship will be required to have completed their mandatory rural posting .
  
  (iv) Candidates who have completed a minimum of 2 years training in either MMed Paediatrics, MMed Internal Medicine and MSc HIV Medicine will be considered for continuing the remaining part of their training as infectious disease specialists
