  Applicants are required to have an acceptable pass in English Language CXC-CSEC or GCE ‘O’ Level , or an acceptable equivalent AND satisfy ONE of the following requirements:
  -A 3-year Secondary Teachers’ College Diploma in the relevant subject area, or
  -Certificates in relevant area [including English Language]
  -Minimum of five (5) CXC-CSEC General/GCE ‘O’ Levels or an acceptable equivalent [including English Language]
  
  The English Language Proficiency Test (ELPT) is used to assess whether persons applying to pursue
  
  undergraduate degree programmes at the university possess a satisfactory level of writing
  
  Course duration: 3 years
