Institutions Offering Doctor of Education in Teaching and Learning with Emerging Technologies (EdD TLET)

•  The University of the West Indies (UWI) Open Campus, Brown's Town  
  Course entry requirements
  (a) A Taught Master’s degree in an appropriate field related to technology or education from The UWI or another approved University, having achieved at least a B+ average or its equivalent, with the following discipline preferences:
  (i) Teaching and Learning concentration: an academic discipline related to teaching and learning or education
  (ii) Curriculum Quality concentration: an academic discipline related to curriculum and instruction or curriculum/instructional design
  
  -Two or more years of work experience in a teaching environment
  -One year of work experience using online technologies in an educational setting; or two years’ experience as an online student.
  
  Applicants not fully meeting academic credential requirements but deemed potentially suited for the degree will be required to complete pre-requisite courses as determined by the academic team.
  
  -Holders of the MEd TLET from the University of the West Indies may apply for transition into this programme as per the Board for Graduate Studies and Research Regulations.
  -Holders of the MEd TLET may be granted direct entry into the EdD TLET if they have achieved an overall grade of B+ or better in the MEd programme
