1. Candidates must have the Malawi School Certificate of Education(MSCE) with an aggregate of not more than thirty points in the best six subjects obtained in not more than two sittings(or)
2. Candidates must have the Malawi School Certificate of Education(MSCE) and passed in Pre-Entry/ Bridge Course Examination was conducted by the University(or)
3. Candidates applying for bridge course must have points below 36.
4. Credit in English is must and Chichewa is not included when calculating the aggregate points.
5. Equivalent qualification on approval of the Academic Board.

Applicants who do not meet the minimum academic requirements but who have at least 2 years relevant post secondary professional experience may be considered for entry
