  Minimum entry requirements:
  1. Direct Entry Scheme (Form VI) Qualifications
  i) Possession of Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (CSEE) or equivalent, with credit passes in five approved subjects, obtained prior to sitting for the Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (ACSEE) or equivalent; and
  ii) He/she has obtained at least two principal level passes in approved subjects in the Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (ACSEE); and
  
  2. Equivalent Qualifications
  i) Possession of Diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Nursing, Gender Studies, Counselling, Psychology, Community Development, Youth Development Work (CYP), Mass Communication, Records Management, Journalism, Accountancy, Law, Banking and Finance, Customs And Tax Administration, Development and Administration and Management, Development planning, Information Technology, Computer Science, Public Administration, Marketing and Public Relations, Industrial Relations, Secretarial Studies, Education, Library and Information Management, Human Resource, Foundation programme and any other Diploma Recognized by OUT Senate with an average of ‘B’ or GPA of 3.0 with not less than four passes at O’ Level.
  OR
  ii) A Bachelor Degree from a recognised University in a discipline other than Social Work.
  OR
  iii) Recognition of Prior Learning certificate (RPL) with average of B+ Grade approved by TCU shall be eligible for BSW programme.

  Admission criteria
  
  (a) Completed A-level studies before 2014
  -Two principal passes with a total of 4.0 points from two subjects defining the admission into the respective programme (where A=5; B=4; C=3; D=2; E=1).
  -Two principal passes (Two Cs) with a total of 4.0 points from two subjects defining the admission into the respective programme (where A=5; B+=4; B=3; C=2; D=1). Grade ‘D’ is not considered as a principal pass in this category.
  
  (b) Completed A-level studies from 2016
  -Two principal passes with a total of 4.0 points from two subjects defining the admission into the respective programme (where A=5; B=4; C=3; D=2; E=1).
  
  (c) Recognition of prior learning qualification
  -B+ Grade: where A=75-100; B+ = 65-74; B=50-64; C= 40-49; D=35-39; F=0-38.
  
  (d) Equivalent applicants
  -At least four O’-level passes (Ds and above) or NVA level III with less than four O’-level passes or equivalent foreign qualifications as established by either NECTA or VETA; AND
  
  (i) At least a GPA of 3.0 for Ordinary diploma (NTA Level 6); OR
  (ii) Average of C FOR Full Technician Certificate (FTC) (where A=5; B=4; C=3; D=2); OR
  (iii) Average of ‘B’ Grade for diploma in Teacher Education; OR
  (iv) Average of ‘B’ grade for Health related awards such as Clinical Medicine and others; OR
  (v) A Distinction for unclassified diplomas and certificate.
  (vi) Upper Second Class for classified non-NTA diplomas.
