  Course entry requirements
  (a) For candidates from STPM Programme:
  -Pass STPM with a minimum CGPA of 3.80, inclusive of at least TWO (2) Grade A and ONE (1) Grade A- in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics/Mathematics (T)/Mathematics (M); AND
  -Pass SPM, inclusive of at least Grade B in English, Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics/Additional Mathematics, and ONE (1) another subject; AND
  -A minimum of Band 3 for MUET; AND
  -Pass the interview conducted by the faculty; AND
  -Certified healthy from serious physical disabilities, mental illness and infectious diseases (exceptions may be granted to candidates with corrective physical disabilities and/or do not prevent candidates from carrying out clinical activities required by medical practitioners).
  
  (b) For candidates from ASASI or Matriculation Programme
  
  -Pass Asasi/ Matriculation with a minimum CGPA of 3.8, inclusive of at TWO (2) Grade A and ONE (1) Grade A- in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics/Mathematics; AND
  -Pass SPM, inclusive of at least Grade B in English, Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics/Additional Mathematics, and ONE (1) another subject; AND
  -A minimum of Band 3 for MUET; AND
  -Pass the interview conducted by the faculty; AND
  -Certified healthy from serious physical disabilities, mental illness and infectious diseases (exceptions may be granted to candidates with corrective physical disabilities and/or do not prevent candidates from carrying out clinical activities required by medical practitioners).
  
  (c) For candidates from the Diploma Programme:
  -Possess a Diploma in Pharmacy from the Public University/ Institution of Higher Education accredited by the Government of Malaysia / Malaysian Qualifications Agency -(MQA) and approved by the University Senate with a CGPA of at least 3.80; AND
  -Pass SPM, inclusive of at least Grade B in English, Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics/Additional Mathematics, and ONE (1) another subject; AND
  -A minimum of Band 3 in MUET; AND
  -Pass the interview conducted by the faculty; AND
  -Certified healthy from serious physical disabilities, mental illness and infectious diseases (exceptions may be granted to candidates with corrective physical disabilities and/or do not prevent candidates from carrying out clinical activities required by medical practitioners).
  
  (d) For candidates with other qualifications:
  
  -Possess a GCE A-Level with at least ONE (1) Grade A and TWO (2) Grade B in Biology, Chemistry or Physics / Mathematics; AND
  -Pass SPM, inclusive of at least Grade B in English, Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics/Additional Mathematics, and ONE (1) another subject; AND
  -A minimum of Band 3 in MUET*; AND
  -Pass the interview conducted by the faculty; AND
  -Certified healthy from serious physical disabilities, mental illness and infectious diseases (exceptions may be granted to candidates with corrective physical disabilities and/or do not prevent candidates from carrying out clinical activities required by medical practitioners).
  
  Applicants who do not have a MUET but have the following results may be considered for conditional admission for one semester: Obtained at least Band 4.5 (Academic) in IELTS; or Earned a minimum of 477 points (PBT) / 153 points (CBT) / 53 points (IBT) in TOEFL.

  -A pass in the IIUM Matriculation Centre’s final examination with CGPA of not less than 3.5 and fulfilling all other requirements for promotion to the first year of a degree programME at IIUM;
  
  -Obtain 2A (Biology and Chemistry) and 1B (Physics or Mathematics) for GCE
  
  -A Level
  
  -Any other qualifications from institutions recogniSed by IIUM
