  Course entry requirements
  -A Master’s Degree, as accepted by the HEP’s Senate;
  
  OR
  -Other qualifications equivalent to a Master’s Degree, as accepted by the HEP Senate.
  OR
  Candidates with at least CGPA of 3.67 at Bachelor’s Degree level may apply to convert their candidacy to the PhD programmes subject to:
  -having shown competency and capability in conducting research at PhD level
  -rigorous internal evaluation by the HEP
  -approval by the HEP’s Senate
  
  English language requirements
  (a) For International Students
  As the programme’s medium of instruction is English, students must possess one of the following qualifications:
  (i) Cambridge Linguaskill

  (ii) IELTS
  -Band 5.0
  
  (iii) Cambridge English Qualifications and Tests
  -154
  
  (iv) TOEFL IBT
  -34
  
  (v) Pearson Test of English
  -47
  
  (vi) MUET
  -Band 3
  
  Note:Candidates who fail to fulfil the above criteria may be required to take an English Proficiency Course at the University.
  
  Course duration: Full-time 3 Years / Part-time 3 - 5 Years.
