    Course entry requirements
    (i) A minimum second-class second-division (2.2) honours bachelor’s degree or Higher Diploma in a cognate area. Cognate subjects include HR, marketing, management or another related business discipline.

    (ii) A minimum second-class second-division (2.2) honours undergraduate bachelor degree or Higher Diploma in a non-cognate area plus 3–5 years’ professional experience in a related field.

    (iii) Applicants who do not have a Level 8 qualification and who have at least 3 years’ work experience may also be considered through the College’s normal RPL procedures. Relevant professional experience will be taken into account and individuals will be assessed on a case-by-case basis through DBS RPL procedures.     (iv) Applicants whose first language is not English and who have not previously undertaken a degree taught in English, must provide evidence of proficiency in English language equivalent to B2+ or above on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFRL). This must be evidenced through a recognised English Language test such as IELTS, Cambridge Certificate or DBS English Assessment. Test certificates should be dated within the last two years to be considered valid.

    Course entry requirements
    -A minimum 2:2 honours primary degree (National Qualifications Authority of Ireland) in a relevant discipline (for example human resource management; work and organisational psychology; business management). However, applicants with cognate backgrounds (where they must have studied at least some of the following subjects in their undergraduate degrees – management, organisational behaviour, employment relations, industrial relations, employment law, individual psychology, social psychology, learning, conflict management, strategy) will also be considered. An interview (face-to-face, or via telephone/skype) will normally form part of the application process. Applicants who do not meet the minimum primary degree requirement may be considered on the basis of relevant professional experience in the field of human resource management, industrial relations, training and development, employment policy, or related field.
