•  Fountain University, Osogbo  
  Course entry requirements:
  (i) Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME)
  -Applicants should obtain credits in English Language, Chemistry, Biology, Physics, and Mathematics in SSCE or its equivalent in not more than two sittings with an acceptable pass in Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and in the Post-University Matriculation Examination (Post-UME).
  
  (ii) Direct Entry
  Applicants should possess;
  -Medical Laboratory Technician Certificate of Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria who must also have a minimum of 5 credits in the subjects stipulated at ‘O’ level are eligible.
  -Candidate holding 3 GCE A/L in Biology, Chemistry and Physics plus O/L credits in 5 subjects -Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English Language.
  -Candidate who transfers from other Colleges of the university with relevant prerequisites.
  -Sc./HND degree in relevant science discipline like Zoology, Microbiology, Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, etc; at least a second class honours degree (22) in related discipline.
  
  (iii) Inter and Intra-University Transfer
  -Senior Secondary School Certificate with credit in Physics, Chemistry,Biology, Mathematics and English language.
  -Relevant pass in the UTME
  -Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of not less than 2.5 with no carry-over courses still outstanding.
  -Candidates from other university should have taken and passed relevant MLS courses in their respective universities in addition to the above requirements [1-3]
  -Candidate who has been asked to withdraw from other college and/or university shall not be considered for admission to the department.
  -Transfer candidates have to satisfy the interview panel of the department and shall be limited in number not more than 5% of the admission quota.
  
  
  -Any candidate wishing to change to the department from a relevant department/college must have spent at least one [1] academic session in the university.

  -Applicants must possess at least credit level passes in five subjects which include English Language, Mathematics and three other relevant subjects at the Ordinary level (SSCE, GCE, NECO) in not more than two sittings.
