  Course entry requirements:
  -Applicants must possess a Bachelor’s degree from Covenant University or any other University recognized by the Senate of Covenant University.
  
  Preferably, candidates with First Class, Second Class (Upper Division), and Second Class (Lower Division with a minimum CGPA of 3.00) in the relevant disciplines may apply.
  
  In addition, the Covenant University conducts screening exercise for all candidates seeking admission into the University.
  
  The entry qualification documents are accepted in the following languages: English.

  Course entry requirements:
  (i) All candidates are required to possess a Bachelor’s degree obtained from a University approved by Senate and with a grade not less than Second Class Lower Division.
  (ii) A candidate with less than Second Class Lower Division plus a Postgraduate Diploma with a minimum of Upper Credit in a relevant field from a recognized University.
  (iii) In addition to (i) and (ii) above, candidates must satisfy the Ordinary Level requirement of five (5 subjects which must include English Language, Mathematics and any other three (3) subject as may be specified for the programme of choice.
  
  Candidates in regular employment or employed at Bowen must indicate such and must submit with their applications, formal letter of release to Postgraduate College.
  
  Applicants who are not graduates of Bowen University must request their former Universities or institutions to forward directly to the College Administrator, College of Postgraduate Studies, Bowen University their academic transcripts as applicable.
•  Babcock University, Ilishan Remo  
  Course entry requirements:
  (i) Admission is open to candidates who hold Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology of Babcock University or other approved universities with at least a Second Class Lower division. Other bachelor’s degree holders with a minimum of a second class lower in related courses such as Biochemistry, Medical Laboratory Science, Biology, Botany, Zoology, Nutrition, Food Science and Biotechnology may apply, provided such candidates offered relevant courses in Microbiology and passed them at the undergraduate level.
  (ii) A candidate with Higher National Diploma may apply, provided such a candidate took relevant courses in Microbiology and in addition, possesses a Postgraduate Diploma in relevant field.
  
  A candidate may be required to undergo a selection process, that is, a candidate without background in Microbiology may be required to remedy and audit some courses at the lower levels.

  b. Candidates with Bachelor’s degree from approved University must obtain a minimum of second class lower division with a CGPA of 3.0/5.0 for an academic programme.
  c. Candidates with at least a third class degree with University PGD on CGPA of 3.0/5.0 may be considered for admission into academic Master’s degree programmes.

  (ii). Candidates with Third Class Honours Degree or HND (in relevant areas) with appropriate Postgraduate Diploma from any other recognized institutions with minimum CGPA of 3.50 on a 5 point scale (or at least Upper Credit in the Postgraduate Diploma). In addition, the holders of HND, PGD/PGDE certificates should satisfy the basic School Certificate or GCE Ordinary Level entry requirements.

  Specialization options: Microbial Biotechnology, Environmental Microbiology, Food and Industrial Microbiology and Medical Microbiology.
  
  Course entry requirements:
  (a) SSC or its equivalent with credit passes in at least 5 subjects including English Language, Mathematics, Biology Chemistry and any other relevant subject at not more than two sittings.
  (b) B.Sc. Degree with a minimum of Second Class Lower Division in Microbiology or in related fields such as: Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Medicine, Medical Laboratory Science, Pharmaceutical Science, Biology, Botany, Zoology and Agricultural Sciences.

  Entry requirements:
  (a) Five (5) O’Level credit passes including English Language and Mathematics.
  
  AND
  
  (b) Bachelor’s degree of Ajayi Crowther University or of other recognized Universities, with not less than a Second Class Lower Division.

  (c) Postgraduate Diploma recognized by the Senate of Ajayi Crowther University in relevant areas may also be considered.

  -Candidates must satisfy the O’ Level requirements for matriculation into first degree programmes of the University i.e. Five (5) Credit passes at not more than two sittings including English Language and Mathematics.
  
  -Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree from Bells University of Technology, or any other approved University, with a minimum of Second Class lower division in relevant fields.
  
  -Candidates with a Third class degree or HND (Upper Credit) plus University PGD in relevant subject may also be considered for admission.

  -Graduates of Kwara State University or other recognised universities who have obtained the approved degree of Bachelor with a minimum of Second Class Upper Division.
  -Candidates with Second Class Lower Division may, however, be considered for admission. Such candidates may be subjected to qualifying examination.
  In addition to above, a candidate must satisfy the university’s requirements for matriculation.
