  Course entry requirements:
  -A Bachelor's Degree (Level 6 MQF) in the area of Engineering/Engineering Technology with minimum CGPA of 2.75 or equivalent grade which is approved by Tunku Abdul Rahman University College or other recognized university as approved by the Senate; OR
  -A Bachelor's Degree (Level 6 MQF) in the area of Engineering/Engineering Technology not meeting CGPA of 2.75 but above 2.50 can be accepted, subject to rigorous internal assessment which is approved by the Tunku Abdul Rahman University College Senate; OR
  -A Bachelor's Degree (Level 6 MQF) in the area of Engineering/Engineering Technology with lower than 2.50 with 5 years of relevant working experience in the field of study which is approved by the Tunku Abdul Rahman University College Senate.
  NOTE: Degree holders of Bachelor's of Science and Technology (non-engineering or engineering technology) with CGPA above 2.50 but less than 2.75 may be admitted, subject to a rigorous internal assessment.
  
  English Language Requirements
  
  (i) Malaysian Students
  -MUET Band 4.0 or IELTS Band 6.0 or CEFR Mid B2 or TOEFL iBT 60 or equivalent ; OR
  Exemption if medium of instruction during Bachelor studies was in English
  
  (ii) International Students
  -IELTS Band 6.0 or CEFR Mid B2, TOEFL iBT 60 or equivalent; OR
  -Exemption if the first language is English or medium of instruction during Bachelor studies was in English
  
  Course duration:
  -Full time (Malaysian and International students) - 2 years
  -Part time (Malaysian students ONLY) - 3 years

  (a) A Bachelor’s Degree in the field or related fields with CGPA of 2.75 and above or equivalent as approved by the Senate; or
  
  (b) A Bachelor’s Degree in the field or related fields or equivalent with CGPA of 2.50 and above but less than CGPA of 2.75, subject to rigorous internal assessment; or
  
  (c) A bachelor’s degree in the field or related fields or equivalent with minimum CGPA of 2.00 but less than CGPA of 2.50, and show evidence of at least five (5) years of relevant working or research experience can be accepted subject to rigorous internal assessment; or
  
  (d) Candidates without a Bachelor’s degree in the related fields or relevant working or research experience must undergo appropriate prerequisite courses determined by UTAR and meet the minimum CGPA set out in (a) to (c).
  
  Language Requirement:
  - IELTS : 5.0 (CEFR Level B1)
  - TOEFL : 500/ TOEFL iBT Score 34
  - MUET Band 3
