  Applicants must have scored a minimum of 5 Credits in O’ level GCE,SSCE of WAEC,SSCE of NECO or NTC of NABTEB obtained at not more than two sittings.
  Credits in English Language, Mathematics and Chemistry are compulsory, plus any other two from the following:

  Applicants are required to have scored a minimum of 5 Credits in O’ level GCE,SSCE of WAEC,SSCE of NECO or NTC of NABTEB obtained at not more than two sittings.
  Credits in English Language, Mathematics and Biology are compulsory, plus any other two from the following:
  (i) Chemistry
  
  (ii) Physics
  
  (iii) Geography
  
  (iv) Economics/ Commerce
  
  (v) Further Mathematics
  
  (vi) ICT.
  
  
  Program duration: The program takes two years regardless of the area of specialization.

  Applicants must possess relevant National Diploma in the above discipline
  from the Osun State College of Technology, Esa Oke or any recognized Polytechnic of
  equivalent status plus at least one year post-ND Industrial work experience.
  
  In addition, applicants must satisfy all the requirements for admission into the relevant ND
  programme of their choice in the Faculty of Applied Sciences, Osun State College of
  Technology, Esa Oke, which should include four (4) credit passes in GCE O’Level or SSCE
  of WAEC or NECO or NTC of NABTEB obtained in Mathematics, Physics and two (2) other
  relevant subjects at not more than two (2) sittings.
  
  Applicants must possess at least a pass in English language.
  
  Applicants must possess five (5) credit passes in Mathematics,
  English Language, Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Agricultural Science.
  
  Course duration: Two years
  
•  The Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro, Ilaro  
  After graduating at this advanced level, graduates will be able to:
  
  (i) Teach science laboratory technology subjects as instructors in Polytechnics
  
  (ii) Repair, modify, and adapt simple instrument and apparatus in the laboratories.
  
  (iii) Work in and/or manage laboratories of science based industries, research institutes and institutions of higher learning
  
  (iv) Manage quality control and product development units in industries
  
  
  Minimum requirements
  
  (i) A National Diploma in Science Laboratory Technology obtained at not less than the Lower Credit level from the Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro or from any other Polytechnic accredited for the programme, or its recognized equivalent plus a minimum of one year post qualification relevant industrial work experience.
  
  
  (ii) The candidate should also request his or her institution to forward his or her official academic transcript under confidential cover to the Registrar, Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro.

  -Applicants must pass through the Universal Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) organized by JAMB. The cut off mark for the institution must have been made.
