    -Normally a 2.1 Honours degree or equivalent qualification acceptable to the University in any discipline to include one module in a quantitative area*. Relevant employment experience in a quantitative area may be considered in lieu of a module in a quantitative area and will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

    *This could be a course or module in an area such as Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or Physics.

    English Language Requirements
    Evidence of an IELTS* score of 6.5, with not less than 5.5 in any component, or an equivalent qualification acceptable to the University is required. *Taken within the last 2 years.

    The program is intensive with a focus on hands-on learning experience. It is made up of eight taught modules. Modules cover the foundations of business analytics (Principles of Business Analytics, and Predictive Analytics), real-world analytics projects with an organization (Analytics Live), analytics applications and socio-technical implications (Marketing Analytics, Contemporary Issues in IT, and People, Organizations & Society), in addition to Core Experiences modules (Career Planning and Development, and Evidence Based Management).

    Entry requirements:
    Candidates should have a minimum 2.2 grade honors (level 8) degree which includes quantitative techniques as part of the degree (including the ability to undertake statistical analysis of data). International applicants must have a recognized primary degree which is considered equivalent to Irish university primary degree level at 2.2. Examples of such degrees include business studies, management science, economics, finance, accounting, engineering, mathematics, physics, computer science, and other sciences. Please note that this degree is quantitative in nature and therefore applicants do need to have a basic level of quantitative capabilities, hence the requirement for a degree with modules that have a quantitative element within them.

    Applicants who have a minimum of three years’ work experience in a position that employs quantitative methods and a 2.2 honors degree (quantitative or non-quantitative degree) may be considered for entry on a case by case basis. In exceptional circumstances consideration will be given to candidates who do not hold a primary degree, but who do have at least 10 years relevant work experience at least 3 of which must be in a position that employs quantitative techniques.

    Course entry requirements
    -A primary degree (Level 8 - National Qualifications Authority of Ireland) in a relevant area (business, finance, economics and mathematics) with an award of Second Class Honours Grade 2. Applicants with relevant professional qualifications and experience and/or with an appropriate honours degree in a cognate discipline may also be considered for admission. An interview may also form part of the selection process. Applicants who cannot satisfy the minimum 2.2 honours primary degree requirement may be accepted on the basis of relevant professional experience. Applicants must also satisfy the Universities English Language Requirements.
