  Course structure:
  
  1st year
  You will take 30 credits of the business subject of your choice. This will provide you with a foundational knowledge of your business subject. You will also take 30 Global Cultures credits to develop inter-cultural skills through an understanding of human diversity and difference.
  
  2nd year
  Second year is about learning the functional capabilities of your business subject, including some optional choices. You will also learn how to systematically observe, interpret and describe the world around you.
  
  Optional additional year
  Paid work placement or study abroad in a European or international university (subject to availability).
  
  Final year
  In your business subject this is the year in which you will develop your understanding of the strategic aspects of running a business or service, as well as advanced skills in your chosen subject. This will be complemented by studying the transnational flows and mobility of culture, ideas, media, technology, and finance, which impact on people’s lives.
  
  Course Duration: 3 years (BBS) or 4 years (BBA)
  
  Entry requirements :Leaving Certificate applicants are required to present (as a minimum): 2H5 & 4O6/H7, O6/H7 in Irish, English & O4/H7 Mathematics.
