  Course entry requirements:
  (i) WASSCE/SSSCE Certificate Holder:
  -Credit passes (WASSCE A1-C6 or SSSCE A-D) in three (3) Core Subjects: English Language, Mathematics and Social Studies/Integrated Science; plus
  -Credit passes (WASSCE A1-C6 or SSSCE A-D) in Geography, and two other relevant Elective subjects, including at least one of the following: Economics, Government and History (Grade B3 or better in Geography will be an advantage).
  
  (ii) School Certificate/GCE Holders
  -Credits in five (5) GCE 'O' Level subjects, including English Language, Mathematics, a Science subject and Geography
  -Passes in two 'A' level subjects including Geography and one other Social Science subject. (SC/GCE holders whose results are more than five years old should apply as mature students).
  
  (iii) Mature Applicants
  -Must be at least 25 years by 1st August of the year of enrollment
  -Must hold Teacher's Certificate or GCE/SSSCE?WASSCE Certificate or a Certificate of Professional Training in a relevant field from a recognized Institution.
  -Must pass the UEW Entrance Examination.
  
  (iv) Post-Diploma Applicants
  -Must hold Higher National Diploma (HND) or its equivalent in a relevant programme from an accredited institution.
