  Course entry requirements
  (i) A current medical clearance certificate from a registered doctor must be presented at the interview.
  -Applicants must have a Leaving Certificate (five passes in ordinary papers) which should include Maths and English.
  -Mature applicants (over 21 years) without the Leaving Certificate entry requirements will be considered on the basis of experience and overall coaching/technical ability. Places are limited and will be allocated on the basis of suitability.
  -All candidates will be interviewed.
  
  The selection process will consist of 4 elements:
  -An interview.
  -A soccer skills practical.
  -The provision of medical clearance from a doctor. (At interview).
  -The provision of a letter of recommendation from a recognised club. (At interview).
  
  Course duration: 1 year
