  Course entry requirements
  -A minimum of a Higher Certificate or equivalent at Level 6 on the National Framework of Qualifications, or the equivalent in Northern Ireland. Applicants must be employed or volunteering in a credit union in the Republic of Ireland or in Northern Ireland, as appropriate.
  
  -Applicants who do not hold a level 6 or equivalent qualification will be assessed for entry based on prior learning and experience. Appropriate experience is regarded as a minimum of one year working in a credit union environment as staff or as a volunteer.
  
  -Applicants whose first language is not English must demonstrate a minimum competency in the English Language of 6.0 in the IELTS test (or equivalent), please note the English language entry requirements; have basic IT skills which include an ability to use email, a word processor (e.g. Microsoft Word) and the internet; the ability to produce written summaries, discussions and projects on academic and applied matters will be important. The ability to engage in a significant amount of self-directed learning will also be essential.

  -Credit Union Ethos, Structure and Core Activities (5 ECTS)
  -Law and Regulation for Financial Services (ROI students only) (10 ECTS)
  -Law and Regulation for Credit Unions (NI students only) (10 ECTS)
  -Credit Union Business, Governance and Operations (5 ECTS)
  -Lending and Loan Recovery (10 ECTS)
