    Course entry requirements
    For Malaysian Students:

    (i) Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM)
    -A pass in STPM or its equivalent, with a minimum Grade C+ (GP 2.33) in any 2 subjects, and Pass SPM with Credits in Mathematics at SPM level.

    (ii) Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM)
    -Pass STAM with a minimum grade of Jayyid (taken within 2 years prior to application); and Credit in Mathematics in SPM Level

    (iii) A-Level
    -Pass A-Level with Gred C in 2 subjects.

    (iv) Matriculation
    -A pass in Matriculation qualification or its equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 and Pass SPM with Credits in Mathematics at SPM level.

    (v) Foundation
    -A pass in Foundation qualification or its equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 2.50, and credits in Mathematics in SPM Level.

    (vi) Diploma
    -Pass Diploma with a minimum CGPA of 2.50, and credits in Bahasa Melayu in SPM level.

    (vii) Diploma Vocational Malaysia (DVM)
    -Pass DVM in related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 AND Pass Sijil Vokasional Malaysia (SVM) / An Academic Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.33 or higher/ A Vocational CGPA of 3.67 or higher and competent in all vocational modules/ A credit in Bahasa Melayu (SVM 1104)/ **Cohort 2013 onwards also need to get an exemption from obtaining a passing grade for Sejarah at SPM level.

    (viii) UEC (Unified Examination Certificate)
    -A pass in UEC with a minimum Grade B in any 5 subjects including Mathematics.

    (ix) International Baccalaureate Diploma (IB)
    -A pass in IB with minimum of 30 points.

    (x) HND(UK) Diploma
    -Pass HND in related field with minimum CGPA 2.00.

    (xi) SAME/WACE/AUSMAT
    -Pass South Australian Matriculation (SAM) and South Australian Matriculation (AUSMAT) with 70%, or South Australia Certificate of Education (SACE) and Western Australian Certificate of Education (WACE) with Band 2 in 2 subjects.

    (xii) Others
    -Other equivalent qualifications recognised by the Government of Malaysia.

    ENGLISH REQUIREMENTS

    For Malaysian Students:

    Students have taken MUET before enrol. However, students are required to complete MUET during the duration of the study (before graduation). IELTS (5.0 and above) or TOEFL (500 and above) or TOEFL Internet-Based Test (42 and above) is also accepted.

    For International Students:

    International students are required to have one of the English proficiency scores stated below to enrol in UNITEN. Bachelor students who do not fulfil this English requirement are required to sit for the Intensive English Programme (IEP) and pass the requirement below before starting their Bachelor programme.

    IELTS – International English Language Testing System
    Achieve 5.5 and above

    TOEFL - Test of English as a Foreign Language

    (vi) Pass BTEC Level 4 & 5 with credit in 3 subjects at SPM level including Mathematics; OR
    (vii) Other qualifications that recognised by the Malaysian government; OR
    (viii) Entry requirements for admission into the Bachelor’s programme (level 6, MQF) through APEL as approved by the Ministry of Education (MOHE). Applicants must be / have:
    -A Malaysian citizen; and​
    -The candidate should be more than 21 years of age in the year of application;​
    -Relevant work experience / prior experiential learning; and​
    -Pass the APEL Assessment​
