  Sept intake - 4 years, including 1 year work placement
  April intake – 4.5 years, including 1 year work placement

  Course content:
  (i) Year 1
  Core modules include:
  -The Person and the Brain
  -Learning about Learning
  -Introduction to Psychological Research
  -Debates in Mental Health
  -Applied and Professional Psychology
  -Psychology in the Workplace (with work placement)
  
  (ii) Year 2
  Core modules include:
  -Cognitive and Biological Psychology
  -Development Across the Lifespan
  -Research Methods in Psychology
  -Social Psychology and Individual Differences
  -Professional and Clinical Practice (with work placement)
  -Behaviour Change
  
  (iii) Year 3
  -Industry Placement Experience (12 months’ full-time work placement)
  
  Year 4
  Core modules include:
  -Research Project
  -Communicating Current Psychology
  -Practicum / Industrial Training
  -A choice of 4-6 optional Modules from a list of specialist topics in staff research areas.
