    Program outline:
    The Graduate Diploma builds on the foundations established by the Graduate Certificate program. It extends the tools available to you, such as health promotion, policy and public health law, to take action to promote and protect the health of populations. You will be introduced to the role of legislation and regulations to promote public health. You will further develop your understanding of epidemiological and biostatistical methods and the practical application of these. Graduates will be able to work effectively within public health organisations to develop ethically justifiable policy and programs and work collaboratively to implement these.

    You will complete eight compulsory courses worth a total of 200 units of credit. These are listed below:

    Entry requirements:
    To be eligible for admission to the Graduate Diploma of Public and Environmentally Sustainable Health applicants must meet the following specific requirements:
    • Possession of a recognised three- or four-year Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline that demonstrates the applicant’s potential to undertake and complete study at AQF level 8 equivalence.
    • successful completion of the four courses in the Graduate Certificate in Public and Environmentally Sustainable Health.
