•  Sule Lamido University, Kafin Hausa  
  Course entry requirements:
  (i) Level 100 (UTME) Admissions
  -A candidate shall have an acceptable score in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) with the correct subject combination.
  -A candidate may also be required to sit for a Post-UTME screening examination to be conducted by the University and obtain an acceptable score for the program applied for as may be set by the University Senate from time to time.
  -A candidate shall possess the SSCE/GCE/TC II or equivalent with credit passes in five subjects, at least three of which shall be in the relevant area, obtained in not more than two sittings including English Language and Mathematics (where applicable).
  
  (ii) Level 200 (Direct Entry) Admissions
  -A candidate for direct entry admission shall apply only through the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).
  -A candidate shall possess at least one of the following qualifications obtained from recognized institutions that are licensed to run them:
  -A two-year recognized diploma in the relevant area with a minimum of a good Lower Credit or equivalent.
  -A two-year recognized diploma plus a one-year advanced diploma in the relevant area with a minimum classification of Lower Credit or equivalent.
  -The National Certificate of Education (NCE) with a minimum of 9 points in the relevant subjects.
  -The Interim Joint Matriculation Board Advanced Level Examination (IJMBE) with a minimum of 8 points in the relevant subjects.
  -Any other qualification deemed equivalent to these by the Senate of the University.
  -In all cases, ‘O’ Level credit in English Language and Mathematics (where applicable) shall be required.

  Minimum entry requirement:
  (i) 5 credit passes at ‘0’ level which must include Mathematics, English Language and any Science subject for UME candidates.
  
  (ii) LIMB with a minimum of C-grade in Mathematics in addition to 5 credit passes ‘0’ level requirements which must include Mathematics and English Language for Direct Admission to 200 level.
  
  (iii) NCE with a minimum of C-grade in Mathematics and Education in addition to 5 credits ‘0’ level requirements Which must include Mathematics and English Language for Direct Admission to 200 level. A pass-grade in ‘0’ level English Language MAY be accepted in consideration forNCE pass in communication skill.
  
  (iv) Diploma with a minimum of C-grade in Mathematics/Mathematics Education from recognised tertiary institution in addition to 5 credits ‘0’ level requirement for Direct Admission to 200 level.
•  Al-Qalam University, Katsina  
  Course entry requirements:
  -At least five credit passes (including English Language and three in relevant subjects) obtained in not more than two sittings in the General Certificate of Education (GCE), Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE), National Examination Council (NECO), or their equivalents. A candidate should also have acceptable points in both the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and Post UTME screening. In addition to the above requirements, candidates applying for direct entry (DE) admissions are required to obtain an ‘A’ level qualification such as NCE, IJMB, GCE ‘A’ level, ND, etc. A minimum of merit is required for NCE, 6 points for IJMB or GCE A level and Lower Credit for ND.
•  Benson Idahosa University, Benin City  
  Entry requirements:
  Five Ordinary Level credits passes at WASSCE, SSCE, or GCE, which must include: English Language, Government/History, another Arts subject and any other two Arts or Social Science subjects.
  
  Students are expected to pass the following courses in the University Matriculation Examination (UME): English Language, History or Government and other relevant courses in the Arts or Social Sciences.
  
  Direct Entry Students will be expected to possess (in addition to the basic UME requirements) a diploma in relevant and related areas, with minimum of Upper Credit pass from institutes recognized by the Senate of Benson Idahosa University.

  Admission Requirements (JAMB/Direct Entry):
  The minimum entry requirement for admission into Lead Ciity University is GCE O/L, SSCE/NABTEB/ NECO or equivalent credit level pass in five(5) subjects, including English Language, and Mathematics, obtained at not more than two sittings. Those with additional (Direct Entry) qualification such as University Diploma, NCE, IJMB, OND, GCE 'A' Level or equivalent professional qualification etc are to proceed from part II. However, candidates awaiting result may apply provided evidence of results would be available before resumption.

  Five credit passes at SSCE (or its equivalent) in English Language, Mathematics, Physics and any other Two Science subjects in not more than two sittings.
  
  Directing Entry:
  
  Candidates with a minimum of 9 points in IJMB/ HSC/GCE A level /NCE in Mathematics and any other relevant subject.
  
  Candidates with a minimum of Lower Credit pass in Diploma in Mathematics Education from recognized institutions may also be admitted.

  Admission requirements:
  
  1. 5 credits pass at SSCE/WASC/GCE O'L or equivalent at a maximum of two sittings.
  2. The credit passes must include: Mathematics, Physics (acceptable for Computer Science) and English.
  3. Candidates must also satisfy the University Matriculation Examinations (UME) minimum condition in addition to (i) and (ii) above
  4. holders of H.S.C / GCE A'L, IJMB, NCE, OND (In Computer Science) in addition to the O'L requirement
