  Admission requirements:
  Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSSCE): Compulsory Subjects - Grade D or better in three (3) core subjects (Mathematics, Integrated Science and English) and Elective Subjects –Grade D or better in three (3) elective subjects. The three electives should include elective Mathematics.
  
  ·West Africa Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE): Compulsory Subjects - Grade C6 or better in three (3) core subjects (Mathematics, Integrated Science and English) and Elective Subjects – Grade C6 or better in three (3) elective subjects. The three elective subjects should include Elective Mathematics.
  
  ·General Certificate of Education (GCE) Advanced Level: Passes in two (2) subjects including Mathematics (at least, one of the passes should be Grade D or better). Also, the applicant must have had credit passes (Grade 6) in five GCE Ordinary Level subjects including English, Mathematics and a Science subject (for non-science students) and an Arts subject for Science students.
  
  ·HND holders in similar area of study from recognized institutions with at least Second Class Lower Division may be considered for admission into level 200 or 300 in their area of specialization depending on the subjects passed. The applicant must have acquired a two-year post HND qualification working experience.
  
  ·Diploma or other certificates in similar area of study from recognized institutions assessed to be equivalent to (1), (2) or (3) may be considered for admission.
  
  ·International Students having equivalent qualifications as stated in (1), (2) or (3) may apply for admission. Foreign Certificates must receive authentication and equivalencies from the Ghana National Accreditation Board. Foreign students must have their high school certificates/diplomas translated into English if they are not written in English.
•  Catholic University College of Ghana, Sunyani  
  Admission requirements:
  SSSCE: Interested and qualified applicants should have aggregate 24 or better with credit passes in six subjects: (3) Core subjects including Mathematics, English and either Integrated Science or Social Studies; and any other (3) electives
  WASSCE: Interested and qualified applicants should have aggregate 36 or better with credit passes in six subjects: (3) Core subjects including Mathematics, English and either Integrated Science or Social Studies; and any other (3) electives;
  GBCE/ABCE: Holders with passes in English and Mathematic, and any other (3) electives can apply.
  GCE ‘O’ & ‘A’ Levels: Applicants must have passes in (2) subjects and a General Paper plus (5) passes at ‘O’ Level including English, Mathematics, Arts or Science subject.
  Other Qualifications: Professional Certificate and Diploma holders of: HND, ICA, CIM, CIMA (I&II), SRN, RGN, RM, TEACHER’S CERT. ‘A’/DIPLOMA, CHN, EN, DBS, etc. can apply and may be considered for higher placement. (Please, enclose transcript(s) and result slip(s) of SSSCE/WASSCE/GCE, etc).
  Mature Applicants: Interested applicants, who do not satisfy the above criteria but are 27years and above or with work experience, can apply. The applicants will be considered to write Entrance Examination and attend Interview. You will be admitted upon passing the Examination and Interview sessions.

  Course entry requirements:
  Applicants must have at least credits in the following subjects:

  ELECTIVES:
  -Physics
  -Mathematics
  -Chemistry or Applied Electricity or Applied Electronics or Technical Drawing or Metal Work or Geography
  
  Matured applicants:
  -Applicants should be at least 25 years of age and should have SSS or GCE ‘O’ Level Certificate with credits in Five (5) subjects including English Language, Mathematics and the relevant Science subjects plus experience in the relevant area of study in addition to passing an Entrance Examination and/ or an interview. Mature applicants must also possess birth certificates which are, at least, five (5) years old after the date of issue.
  
  International applicants:
  International applicants from accredited/recognised institutions with equivalent qualifications will be considered for admission
  
  INTERNATIONAL BACCALAUREATE
  Applicants with international Baccaleureate (Science and Technical) are eligible to apply. Such applicants must also possess a proficiency certificate in English. Please note that all certificates should be translated into English. Equivalences with regard to the certificates would be sought at the National Accreditation Board.
