  Candidates will be required to have any of the following qualifications:
  Mean grade of C+ (plus) at KCSE or equivalent.
  OR a mean grade of C (Plain) at KCSE or equivalent with a Diploma in Library Science and/or Information Science or Archives Administration.
  OR a mean grade of C- (Minus) at KCSE and progressed from Certificate to Diploma at any recognized/accredited Institutions.

  East Africans: Ksh 110,000
  Non-East Africans: Ksh 130,000
  Statutory: Ksh 18,000

  Course entry requirements:
  (i) Direct admission
  -KCSE Mean grade C+ (Plus) or its equivalent
  
  (ii) Indirect admission
  -Diploma with at least a Credit in Library and Information Studies or its equivalent from an institution recognized by Egerton University Senate OR
  
  - Diploma with a pass and at least two years relevant working experience.
