  Course entry requirements:
  (i) A relevant Bachelor’s degree from the University or other qualification/s approve by Senate.
  (ii) Candidates who have passed the examinations on the grounds that they will be awarded a Bachelor’s degree by the University, or on the grounds that the required status may later be granted to them, may be accepted as candidates for Honours degrees. Senate may, with the approval of Council, determine the minimum number of new students who must register for a qualification/module for it to be offered.
  (iii) A Bachelor’s degree with a minimum pass of 60% in History on third-year level.

  Course Entry Requirements:
  (a) A candidate must be in possession of Bachelor’s Degree within the disciplinary area of
  choice or prior learning as determined by the Department and School concerned, and
  approved by the Faculty.
  (b) A mark of 60% for the major subject
  
  Course Duration:
  (a) One year minimum and two years maximum.

  Specific Admission Requirements:
  • A BA degree with History as major.
  • An average final mark of at least 60% in the major.
  • A BA (International Studies) degree with History 318 and 348 with an average final mark of at least 60% in these two modules.
