    Admission Requirement:
    A Master’s degree in Theology/Religions/related fields with a grade point average of 2.5 on a 4.00 scale or equivalent.
    An applicant with a 3rd Class Division in Master’s degree, employed in program-related fields, with relevant work experience, and demonstrating the capacity to cope with the program may be considered for admission in exceptional cases. Such applicants will be required to write and pass a selection examination and an interview organized by the Graduate School.
    Admission shall be subject to the selection procedures of the university including an interview.
    International applicants must have qualifications equivalent to the above to be considered for admission. Their results must also be translated into English and they should be able to read and write in English.
    An M.Phil. Candidate can apply to upgrade from M.Phil. to the Ph.D. program and be admitted in the third semester of the Ph.D. program subject to successful completion of the course work and the approval of the Graduate Studies Committee.

    -Have obtained a good first degree (at least a Second Class) in appropriate field of study from a recognized University.
    -Submit a proposal of 2-3 pages of A4 Size paper on the intended area of study.
    -Satisfy an additional requirement prescribed by faculty/department. These may include relevant work experience, a written entrance examination and an interview.
    -An applicant who possesses a Taught Master’s degree (M.A. /MBA/M.Sc.) and wishes to enrol in an M.Phil degree programme will be required to take additional relevant courses not exceeding 18 credit hours and present a thesis.
