  Course entry requirements:
  -An appropriate bachelor’s degree or appropriate advanced diploma in education or related field or any qualification at NQF level 7 in a related field. The applicant must have at least 2 years teaching experience in a higher education sector and currently teaching in the HE sector.
  
  -Applicants must be currently teaching in a university, be proficient in English preferably at NQF level 7, whereby they are able to communicate effectively both orally and in written form. Furthermore, the candidates must be able to use and apply generic computer skills such as Microsoft office.
  
  -Candidates with relevant NQF level qualifications and a minimum of 3 years’ experience in Post Schooling, Education and Training Sector (PSET) work experience could be considered through Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL).
  
  Course duration: 2 years
  
  Mode of study: Part time
•  University of Stellenbosch, Stellenbosch  
  Admission Requirements:
  • You must have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification approved for this purpose by Senate.
  • You must have a minimum of two years’ teaching experience in higher education and/or you must be appointed in a teaching-related post.
  • The Faculty recommends that you have a master’s degree in your discipline. Preference will be given to such candidates and to candidates from the abovementioned three institutions: Stellenbosch University, the University of the Western Cape and Cape Peninsula University of Technology.
  • The programme will be capped at 40 and candidates will be admitted on a first-come-first-served basis.
  
  
  Duration of Programme: 2 academic years.
