  Entry Requirements
  Honours:
  - A bachelors degree or equivalent.
  - At least an upper second class pass in the final undergraduate course in the subject.
  Applicants are required to hold a BCom degree with a major in Economics from a recognised university and must have achieved at least 65% in the final undergraduate (Economics III) year.
  
  International applicants and South African applicants who do not hold South African university degrees must have their degree(s) assessed by the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA) before making an application. Ideally, the applicant should apply for SAQA assessment at least 3 months before applying to the Faculty of Commerce, Law and Management.   Admission Requirements:
  • A bachelor’s degree (NQF level 7) with an average mark of at least 60% for a final year major in Economics (equivalent to content and focus of Stellenbosch University’s Economics 318 and 348 modules).
  • At least 60% as your achievement mark in the intensive Mathematics course that precedes the formal programme.
  • Grade 12 Mathematics at least 60%
  
  Course Duration: One year (You must complete the programme within three years).
  
  Mode of Study: Full-time.
  
  Mode of Delivery: Full-contact learning (face-to-face).

  Admission Requirements:
  (a) A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent majoring in Economics
  (b) Applicants must obtain at least 60 % average in the Final Year Economics modules.
  (c) Where the minimum requirement of 60 % was not obtained the student can be provisionally
  admitted to the study only with a special recommendation from the program HOD.

  (a) Minimum of one year and maximum of three years.
