  A weighted average of at least 60% for each of the following modules (or equivalent) in applied geology at second-year and third-year level:
  Soil mechanics,
  Rock mechanics,
  Engineering geology.
  
  Selection Process:
  A departmental committee selects the top performing students based on undergraduate performance
  A limited number of students will be admitted
  Performance during prior studies will be considered in selecting students. Specific attention will be given to modules repeated and duration of study.
