  Minimum entry requirement:
  1. You need a South African National Senior Certificate (NSC) with Bachelor degree entry or an equivalent foreign secondary qualification on an NSC level with Bachelor degree entry approved by Universities South Africa (USAF)
  2. Or If you have an international school-leaving certificate, you need to provide a certificate of exemption issued by Universities South Africa (USAF).
  3. Or You should have successfully completed the relevant Pearson Institute foundation programme. On successful completion of the foundation programme, students are required to apply to Universities South Africa (USAF) for a certificate of exemption in order to be admitted to a degree programme.
  4. Or You should have successfully completed a higher certificate qualification in a cognate field.
  5. And:
  -You need 25 or more Pearson Institute points.

  Duration: 3 years
  
  Minimum entry requirement:
  • An NSC with Degree admission – a minimum of 30% for English coupled with a minimum of 50% for four (4) DESIGNATED NSC subjects. (This excludes Life Orientation which is a 10 credit subject); OR
  • An NC(V) with Degree admission – a minimum of 60% in English on either First Additional Language or Home Language level AND Mathematics or Mathematical Literacy AND Life Orientation, with a minimum of 70% in the four (4) compulsory vocational subjects; OR
  • An SC (with endorsement) or equivalent; OR
  • A Higher Certificate, Advanced Certificate or 240 or 360 credit Diploma in a cognate discipline.
