  i. Holders of First Class or upper second Class Degree of University of Eldoret in any of the following disciplines: Life/health sciences, engineering, physical sciences, Law social sciences humanities and allied disciplines.
  ii. A candidate who has obtained a first degree from a recognized university which the senate has accepted as equivalent to first class or upper second class degree of University of Eldoret in the disciplines out line in (i) above.
  iii. Holders of a lower second class honors degree of University of Eldoret, or of a recognized University, who in addition to the degree, have post
  graduate qualification(certificate of diploma) in a relevant field; or have postgraduate research experience as evidenced by at least one published paper in refereed journal

  Minimum entry requirements:
  - At least a second class honours (upper division) degree in Environmental Bachelor of Environmental Planning and Management, Bachelor of Environmental Studies, Bachelor of Urban and Regional Planning OR Bachelor of Science/Arts in Geography, Economics, Surveying and Photogrammetry, Land Economics, Building Economics, Estate Management, Housing Technology, Engineering, Sociology, Agriculture, Forestry and Wildlife, Zoology, Botany OR Bachelor of Architecture OR Bachelor of Lawfrom a University recognised by the Maasai Mara University Senate, or
  
  - A holder of a second class honours (lower division) degree in above recognized degrees provided that the candidate has acquired at least two years relevant experience.

  (i) Holders of Bachelor of Environmental Planning and Management, Environment Studies; Environmental Studies (Planning and Management), Urban and Regional Planning. Bachelor of Science/Arts in Geography, Economics, Surveying, Geometrics and Geospatial Sciences, Land Economics, Building Economics, Estate Management, Housing Technology. Engineering, Sociology, Agriculture Forestry and Wildlife, Zoology or Botany. Bachelor of Architecture and Law.
  
  (ii) Those with Second Class (Lower Division) may be considered on condition that they have Grade "C" and above in units relevant to their areas of specialization.

  - First Class Honours and Upper Second Class Honours Degree in related fields.
