  - Be a Holder of a first degree in the following fields: Medicine (MBCHB), Nursing (BSc.N), Pharmacy (B. Pharm) and Dentistry (BDS).
  - A holder of a first degree, First Class Honours or Second Class Honours (Upper Division) in any of the following fields: Environmental Health, Community Health, Public health ; Nutrition and Health Systems Management, Medical Microbiology, Medical Laboratory Sciences OR
  - A holder of a first degree Second Class Honours (Lower Division) in the above disciplines with a minimum of two years post qualification experience in a health related field plus acceptable evidence of research ability and evidence of publication.
•  Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, Nairobi  
  Admission shall be granted to holders of any of the qualifications below:
  
  (i) University degree with Upper Second Class Honours in the respective discipline from a University recognized by JKUAT Senate.
  
  (ii) University degree with Lower Second Class Honours in the respective discipline plus acceptable evidence of research ability or academic work recognized by JKUAT Senate.
•  South Eastern Kenya University, Kitui  
  Course entry requirements:
  -A relevant bachelors degree of South Eastern Kenya University or any other recognised university, or other qualifications considered by University Senate as equivalent to a relevant bachelor’s degree
