  Admission criteria
  
  (a) Completed A-level studies before 2014
  -Two principal passes with a total of 4.0 points from two subjects defining the admission into the respective programme (where A=5; B=4; C=3; D=2; E=1).
  -Two principal passes (Two Cs) with a total of 4.0 points from two subjects defining the admission into the respective programme (where A=5; B+=4; B=3; C=2; D=1). Grade ‘D’ is not considered as a principal pass in this category.
  
  (b) Completed A-level studies from 2016
  -Two principal passes with a total of 4.0 points from two subjects defining the admission into the respective programme (where A=5; B=4; C=3; D=2; E=1).
  
  (c) Recognition of prior learning qualification
  -B+ Grade: where A=75-100; B+ = 65-74; B=50-64; C= 40-49; D=35-39; F=0-38.
  
  (d) Equivalent applicants
  -At least four O’-level passes (Ds and above) or NVA level III with less than four O’-level passes or equivalent foreign qualifications as established by either NECTA or VETA; AND
  
  (i) At least a GPA of 3.0 for Ordinary diploma (NTA Level 6); OR
  (ii) Average of C FOR Full Technician Certificate (FTC) (where A=5; B=4; C=3; D=2); OR
  (iii) Average of ‘B’ Grade for diploma in Teacher Education; OR
  (iv) Average of ‘B’ grade for Health related awards such as Clinical Medicine and others; OR
  (v) A Distinction for unclassified diplomas and certificate.
  (vi) Upper Second Class for classified non-NTA diplomas.

  Admission criteria
  
  (a) Category A: Direct Entry (Form VI applicants)
  i) ACSEE results with at least two principal passes at the same sitting with total points not below 4.0 based on either the New Grading System or the Old Grading System.
  
  -The scale under the old grading system is A=5; B=4; C=3; D=2 E=1; S=0.5; F=0 while under the new grading system is A=5; B+=4; B=3; C=2; D=1; E=0.5; F=0. OR
  ii) Two passes (in appropriate subjects) not at the same sitting provided that they are both at grade C” or higher level. Plus At least four credit passes at Certificate of Secondary Education Examination or the equivalent qualification with an award of at least Division III.
  
  (b) Category B: Equivalent Qualifications
  i) Ordinary Diploma (NTA level 6) from an institution recognized by NACTE. The Diploma should have an overall average of a 3.0 GPA equivalent to Lower Second Class.
  Or
  ii) An appropriate unclassified Diploma with average total points of not less than 4.0 equivalent to Grade “B” obtained in relevant subjects studied only in the final year of completion.
  
  Or
  iii) Full Technician Certificate (FTC) with an average of ‘C’ grade or above
  
•  Moshi Cooperative University, Moshi  
  Duration: 3 years
  
  Minimum entry requirements:
  - Certificate of Secondary Education Examination or equivalent with credit passes in Five approved subjects or equivalent and at least two principal 'A' level passes with a total of at least 4.5 points in the Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education Examination.
  - For indirect entry,applicants should have at least a relevant Diploma in Human Resource Management or related field from a accredited/recognised institution
