  Course entry requirements
  LOCAL STUDENT:
  (i) Acquire Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) with at least credit in three (3) subjects and passed Mathematics or equivalent; or
  (ii) Passed Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM)/ Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM) or equivalent; or
  (iii) Passed Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (SKM) Level 3 in related field and acquire SPM with minimum one (1) credit; or
  (iv) A recognized certificate (Level 3, MQF) or equivalent in Mualamat and Islamic Finance (MIF) or related; or
  (v) Other equivalent qualification recognized by the Malaysian Government.
  
  Note :
  -The requirement to pass Mathematics at the SPM level for candidates (i) can be exempted if the candidate have other qualification that contain Mathematics subject and their achievement is equivalent/ higher.
  -For candidate who did not have a pass in Arabic at the SPM level must take Arabic proficiency subject at the beginning of their studies except for student who passed the Arabic subject at the SPM level or equivalent/higher level.
  -The student needs to pass the Arabic proficiency subject as a prerequisite before being allowed to take the related core courses. However, this stipulation does not prevent students from pursuing other subjects whether core or non-core that do not require the Arabic proficiency subject.
  
  
  INTERNATIONAL STUDENT:
  (i) International students must meet the entry requirements of the course and english competency requirements as determined by the university; expect
  (ii) International students from countriesusing English as the offical language; or
  (iii) International students who use academic qualifications from institutions that use English as a full medium of instruction and intend to purse higher education in Malaysia.
  (iv) International students who DO NOT meet the requirements to english language competency may be considered with Conditional Offer as follows:-
  -Attending an internal Preparatory Course at USAS with a maximum time limit of two (2) years, but students are still subject to the rules of the Immigration Department of Malaysia which is in force.
  
  Course duration: 2 Years 6 Months
