•  University of Nigeria, Nsukka, Nsukka  
  Course entry requirements:
  i. Candidate must satisfy the matriculation requirements of the University, including
  English Language.
  ii. A minimum of third-class (Hons.) Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or a related
  discipline awarded by an approved and accredited university.
  iii. Higher National Diploma (HND) at the lower Credit level or equivalent
  professional qualifications cognate to Social Work from a recognized institution.
  iv. Degree holders from other disciplines from recognised universities
  
  Course duration:
  a. Full–time: 2 (minimum) and 4 (maximum) semesters for the
  postgraduate diploma
  b. The part-time PGD shall run for a minimum of four (4) semesters and a maximum of six
  (6) semesters.
  
•  Lagos State University, Lagos  
  Course entry requirements:
  Any of the followings:
  a. A first degree from any recognized University with minimum of Third Class Degree
  b. Certificate in Registered Nurses, Mid-Wives and other Para-medical personnel who also hold Post Basic Qualification
  c. Professionals in other relevant disciplines as approved by the University Senate.
  d. Holders of the Higher National Diploma or its equivalent.
  e. Higher Degree in any discipline relevant to social work profession.
  f. Five Credits in ordinary level certificate, WASC, SSCE, NECO etc. with at least a pass in Mathematics.
  
  Course duration: Minimum of 2 semesters and maximum of 4 semesters.
