  Admission criteria
  Applicants must have completed 16 years of education and meet requirements from one of the following routes:
  
  (a) Route I
  
  (i) Secondary School Certificate (SSC) (science​ group) or equivalent
  
  (ii) Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) (pre-medical) or equivalent
  
  (iii) Four-year BScN degree and transcript attested from Higher Education Commission, Pakistan (HEC)
  
  (iv) Minimum 2 years of clinical experience as RN by January 1, 2022 including one-year Internship in a hospital
  
  (v) Valid registration with the Pakistan Nursing Council or equivalent
  
  (b) Route II
  
  (i) Secondary School Certificate (any group)
  
  (ii) Three-year General Nursing Diploma (RN)
  
  (iii) One-year midwifery diploma (RM) or any post basic speciality for male in lieu of midwifery
  
  (iv) Completion of three compulsory courses: English, Islamic Studies / Ethics and Pakistan Studies at BA/BSc level, as required to HEC
  
  (v) Two-years’ Post-RN BScN Degree with a minimum of 60 credit hours
  
  (vi) Two-years’ clinical experience (one-year before Post-RN BScN and one-year after Post-RN BScN)
  
  (vii) Valid registration with the Pakistan Nursing Council or equivalent
  
  (viii) Higher Education Commission, Pakistan (HEC) equivalence of 16 years in relevant field for candidates applying with Post-RN BScN or foreign degree
  
  Course duration: 2 years
•  Dow University of Health Sciences, Karachi  
  Course entry requirements
  -Post RN BSN with at least Cumulative GPA 2.5
  -One Year Diploma in Post Basic Specialization from recognized nursing institute.
  -Two (02) years’ work experience.
  -Valid PNC License. OR
  -4 Years BSN with at least Cumulative GPA 2.5
  -Two (02) Years work experience including One (01) Year Internship
  -Valid PNC License
  -Clearing GAT-General (HEC (HAT), NTS, DUHS) within 6 months is mandatory for Admission.
  -Sindh Domicile
