  Course entry requirements:
  (i) A minimum mean grade of C+ (Plus) in Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) and in addition Should have a minimum grade of C (plain) in each of the following subjects; Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics/Physics/Geography OR C (plain) in each of the following subjects: Biological Sciences, Physical Sciences, Mathematics/Geography and C (plain) in English/Kiswahili, or 3rd Group II subject, or a Group III subject, or any Group IV or any Group V.
  (ii) Candidates who are admitted under government sponsorship will have their admission cut-off points fixed by the KUCCPS for each admission year.
  (iii) Have a minimum of a credit pass in Diploma in agriculture, horticulture, biological sciences or equivalent and related disciplines from an institution recognized by MUST senate.
  (iv) Mature Students with a relevant Diploma and more than 3 years’ work experience to be admitted in year two
  (v) Other equivalent qualifications recognized by Meru University of Science and Technology.

  1. C+ grade aggregate in the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) or its equivalent.
  2. In addition, to be admitted into this programme, applicants must have passed the KCSE with at least grades C+ in Mathematics; C+ in English; C+ in Biology or B in Biological Sciences; C+ in Chemistry or B in Physical Sciences.
  3. Alternatively, admission may be granted to Diploma holders who have passed with at least a Credit or its equivalent from recognized institutions.
