  -A National Diploma in Animal Health (or equivalent), or an appropriate degree with evidence of Epidemiology and Veterinary Public Health passed with an average of 60% or more in the major field in the final year.
  
  -Applicants who have a final major mark of 50% to 59% or who completed the diploma more than 5 years previously, may be considered by the department.
